Senior Sales Executive (Enterprise Solutions SmartSpace OS)

OVERVIEW

 

The role is to increase business growth and market share by identifying prospects, uncovering opportunities, closing sales and maintaining relationships with clients. This role will be expected to sell across the whole SmartSpace Software proposition.

 

This exciting role is not a regular office job. There will be sales targets to meet and goals to achieve, so expect busy days with a full to-do list from the start.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to be fully engaged and proactive, spending productive time seeking new opportunities and visiting existing clients. This role requires you to enjoy the buzz closing a sale and have the want more attitude.

 

The Position requires an individual with a proven track record with direct sales experience at corporate C-suite level. In addition, the candidate should be knowledgeable in meeting room and space management trends, have a sound understanding of workplace management software and sensor technologies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

 

  • Increase sales of SmartSpace Software products and services by establishing contact, creating opportunity and developing relationships with prospects
  • Reaching the targets and goals set
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Collect customer feedback and market research
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Report to senior managers
  • Keep up to date with products and competitors
  • Represent Connect Labs at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Review and report your own sales performance and maintain a sales pipeline via CRM
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and maintaining organisational standards.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

 

 

 

 Technical

Essential Skills / Experience

Must have a full and clean driver’s licences, own a car that is both suitable, reliable and fully insured

Held and been successful in meeting room and workplace solutions sales roles for a minimum period of 5 years

Computer literate - Use of Microsoft products, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Motivation for sales, results-orientated with strong prospecting and negotiation skills

Sound understanding of SaaS deployment in meeting room and workplace management environments

Self-starter who is self-motivated and highly resourceful

 

Articulate, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels

 

Well-developed commercial and financial understanding

 

Proven capability in delivering high quality client presentations

 

Enthusiastic and dynamic personality with high energy levels
